A Record of Success

  • R. v.  A.R.

    The client was charged with Aggravated Assault and Weapons Dangerous stemming from an allegation involving a stabbing. After trial, the client was found not guilty and all charges were dismissed.

  • R. v.  J.C.

    The client was charged with Robbery, two counts of Threatening Death and Carry Concealed Weapon. After a multiple day trial, the client was found not guilty and all charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. J.G.

    The client was charged with a Home Invasion Robbery, Use Imitation Firearm, Forcible Confinement and Possession Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. Mr. Stubbs successfully argued the exclusion of a surveillance video and all charges were dismissed against the client.

  • R. v.  J.G.

    The client was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds and two counts of Fail to Comply Recognizance. After a multiple day trial, Mr. Stubbs successfully argued the exclusion of all evidence on the grounds that the Police infringed the client’s rights pursuant to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. All charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. A. N.

    The client was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Cultivation of Cannabis. Prior to the commencement of the Preliminary Hearing, Mr. Stubbs negotiated a withdrawal of all charges.

  • R. v. O. G.

    The client was charged with a number of firearm and drug related offences. This case involved a loaded firearm found in a vehicle were the client was seated. After a multiple day trial, the client was found not guilty and all charges were dismissed.

  • R. v. G. L.

    The client was charged with Robbery. Midway through trial, the Crown withdrew the charge.

  • R. v. D. C.

    The client was charged with a number of Assault and Firearm related offences all within the domestic context. Mr. Stubbs negotiated a withdrawal of all charges prior to trial.
